Rough idle, misfire, reduced power or drivetrain warning.
First checks: Autel fault data, intake and ignition checks, leak evidence and live engine values.
Home / BMW 530i repair
Bring us the warning, leak, noise or change you have noticed. We repair BMW 530i engine, cooling, transmission, suspension, brake, battery and electrical faults at our Al Quoz 4 workshop. Testing comes first, followed by a written estimate and your approval.
Autel diagnosis starts from AED 350. Common published estimates include oil service from AED 720, AGM battery replacement from AED 950, brake pads from AED 600 per axle and radiator replacement from AED 2,950. The exact 530i, fitted parts and test findings set the final price.
Free pickup and drop-off is available within Dubai, subject to scheduling and access. Most jobs are completed within 48 hours when the required parts are available.

Start with the change
A fault code is useful, but the way the car changed often decides which test should come first. Tell us when it happens, what the dashboard says and whether recent work was carried out.
Stop and call if the car is overheating, losing oil pressure, smoking, braking poorly or steering unpredictably.
Rough idle, misfire, reduced power or drivetrain warning.
First checks: Autel fault data, intake and ignition checks, leak evidence and live engine values.
Coolant warning, fan running hard, smell or visible loss.
First checks: cooling pressure, pump operation, radiator condition, hose joints and leak location.
Harsh shift, vibration, knock, pull or uneven braking.
First checks: road-test behaviour, underbody condition, brake wear, mounts, bushes and fluid leaks.
Slow start, battery warning, screen fault or repeated alerts.
First checks: battery state, charging output, stored faults, affected circuits and recent battery or module work.
Useful starting estimates
These Dubai estimates give you a realistic starting point. We confirm the model year, VIN, parts choice and labour scope before issuing the final quotation.
| 530i work | Estimated price | What the estimate covers |
|---|---|---|
| Autel diagnostic assessment | From AED 350 | Initial fault scan and findings. The charge is waived when the related diagnosed repair is booked with the workshop. |
| Oil and filter service | AED 720–1,030 | Engine oil, compatible filter, labour and service reset. Oil approval and quantity are confirmed for the car. |
| AGM battery replacement | AED 950–1,300 | Compatible AGM battery, fitting and registration. Capacity, charging condition and installed battery specification are checked first. |
| Brake pads per axle | AED 600–950 | Front or rear pad estimate. Sensor requirement, disc condition and selected parts can change the total. |
| Radiator replacement | AED 2,950–4,450 | Radiator, labour, coolant and fittings, with pressure testing. Damaged hoses or connected parts are quoted separately. |
| Timing-chain work where applicable | AED 3,500–8,500 | Generation-dependent estimate. Engine identification, confirmed wear and associated parts decide the scope. |
| Head-gasket repair | AED 4,800–7,600 | Estimate depends on test results, cylinder-head condition, machining needs, gaskets, fluids and related heat damage. |
| Engine replacement | AED 15,000–38,000 | Used or remanufactured engine options. Engine code, supplier, included accessories, installation and testing must be confirmed. |
| Transmission fault or repair | Quoted after testing | The estimate must confirm gearbox identification, fault data, fluid and leak condition, internal findings and whether service, repair or replacement is appropriate. |
Send the model year, VIN, mileage and symptoms for a comparable quotation. A cheaper parts-only figure is not the same as a fitted, tested repair.

Engine and oil faults
Oil on the undertray does not identify the failed seal. It can travel from a higher leak before it reaches the floor, so the engine should be inspected cleanly before a gasket is ordered.
We check the valve-cover area, oil-filter housing area, oil pan, nearby hoses and visible contamination. A burning smell, smoke from the engine bay, frequent top-ups or oil reaching belts needs prompt attention.
The repair quotation should name the leak source, sealing parts, access labour, oil or coolant required, and any connected part that is already damaged. If a head-gasket fault is suspected, pressure or combustion-related evidence must support that conclusion before major work is approved.
See 530i valve-cover gasket repair or review head-gasket repair.
Cooling problems
A rising temperature warning, coolant loss, steam or repeated fan operation can turn a cooling-system repair into engine work. Stop safely and call before driving further if the 530i is overheating.
Cooling diagnosis can include a pressure test, leak inspection, pump-operation check, radiator and hose assessment, and fault-data review. We separate a leaking radiator or weak pump from a thermostat, hose, cap, sensor or wider engine problem.
Replacing the visible wet part without checking system pressure can leave the original cause unresolved. The final estimate should identify the failed component, coolant and fittings, labour, testing and any additional damage found.

Control the repair budget
A 530i estimate should move from evidence to options. You should know what is confirmed, what can be repaired and when replacement becomes the better use of the budget.
Start with the affected system, test result and visible condition. A stored code alone does not prove the named part has failed.
From AED 350Ask what changes between genuine, OEM and suitable aftermarket parts where those choices are available, including labour and setup.
Parts choice statedThe written estimate should name the agreed work, parts, additional operations, testing and expected timing before the repair begins.
No surprise charges
Ride and steering
A knock over bumps, steering pull, vibration or uneven tyre wear may involve more than one worn component. We inspect the relevant suspension corner and connected steering, mount and wheel condition before quoting parts.
A useful suspension estimate identifies whether the work concerns arms, bushes, shocks, mounts, links, wheel bearings or another source. It should also state whether both sides need work and whether wheel alignment is required after repair.
Replacing a part without confirming the source can leave the noise or pull unchanged. A road test and underbody inspection help separate worn suspension from tyre, brake or steering faults.
For wider system work, see our BMW suspension repair and BMW steering repair services.
Brake work
Brake noise or a dashboard warning does not show the complete repair. Pad thickness, disc condition, sensor status and any vibration or pull must be checked together.
The published AED 600 to AED 950 estimate covers brake pads per axle. The total changes when discs, a wear sensor, seized hardware or another braking fault is confirmed. We show those items separately before work begins.
If the pedal feels unsafe, the car pulls sharply, braking performance drops or brake fluid is leaking, stop driving and call. Safety work takes priority over convenience.

From symptom to collection
Call or send the model year, mileage, warning, symptom and when it occurs. A VIN is helpful for parts identification.
We use Autel data and the mechanical, electrical, pressure or road-test checks that match the complaint.
The written quotation explains the confirmed work, available parts choice, price variables and expected completion time.
Repair starts after approval. Service bookings include a 100+ point inspection, and visual progress updates are available.
AMF Auto Services LLC is at Warehouse 39, Al Quoz 4, Dubai. The workshop states AED 0 in surprise charges, so additional work should be explained and approved first.
Routine care
The 530i badge spans different model years and specifications. Oil approval, quantity, filter, battery capacity and fitted equipment must be checked for the actual car rather than assumed from the badge.
BMW 530i questions
These answers cover the price, safety and booking points owners usually need first.
Autel diagnosis starts from AED 350. Published estimates on this page include oil service at AED 720 to AED 1,030, AGM battery replacement at AED 950 to AED 1,300, radiator replacement at AED 2,950 to AED 4,450 and major engine-related work from AED 3,500 to AED 38,000 depending on the confirmed repair. The final price follows vehicle identification and testing.
It depends on the warning and the way the car behaves. Stop safely and call before driving with overheating, a red oil-pressure warning, smoke, major fluid loss, unsafe braking or unstable steering. For an amber or intermittent warning, send a clear photo and describe when it appears.
We inspect BMW 530i models after confirming the model year, VIN, engine and installed equipment. The badge does not guarantee the same engine, battery, cooling system, brake package or electronic procedure across every year and market.
Autel data can identify the affected system, stored faults and useful operating values. A fault code does not prove the named component has failed, so the scan is combined with the physical, electrical, pressure or mechanical checks required by the symptom.
The site states that most jobs are completed within 48 hours when parts are available. Routine oil, battery or brake work may be quicker. Intermittent electrical faults, internal engine work, gearbox repairs or special-order parts can take longer, so the written estimate should confirm timing for the approved job.
Send the model year, mileage, VIN when available, warning message, symptoms, when the problem occurs and any recent repair history. Photos or a short video can help with the starting assessment, although the final repair price may still require workshop testing.
