BMW dent, scratch and accident repair

A door dent or scraped bumper can spoil the appearance of an otherwise well-kept BMW. Our bodyshop repairs parking damage, scratches, damaged panels and accident-related bodywork, then restores the painted areas to a finish that works with the rest of the car.

You can book the complete repair here. We assess the damage, identify what can be retained and price the necessary bodywork, painting and reassembly together. You do not need to select a repair technique or order a replacement panel before contacting us.

Repair the damage that matters

For cosmetic damage, the aim is a clean finish without unnecessary replacement. After an impact, the repair also needs to address affected mountings, panel alignment and equipment. We explain the difference when inspecting your BMW.

Start with a free initial inspection. First-time customers can ask for 15% off their first service, and free pickup and drop-off within Dubai makes arranging bodywork easier around work and family commitments. Call with the damaged area and your BMW model to arrange the next step.

Repair where it makes sense

Replacing every damaged panel can add unnecessary cost. Equally, painting over a part that cannot be restored properly leaves the underlying problem unresolved. We assess the material, shape and mounting points before recommending repair or replacement.

Keep a repairable panel

Where the original paint is intact and the dent is suitable, paintless dent repair can correct the shape without repainting that area. Access, dent depth, sharp creases and previous repairs affect suitability.

When paint is damaged, a repairable panel can be reshaped, prepared and refinished. This can retain the original part while correcting the dent and damaged finish. We include the necessary paint work in the estimate so the price reflects the finished repair.

Replace what cannot be restored

Severe distortion, torn material or damaged attachment points may make replacement the appropriate choice. The recommendation follows the condition of the part and the applicable repair requirements, rather than the visible size of the dent alone.

If a new panel or bumper is needed, we identify the proposed part, associated trim and fitting work. You see the replacement and painting costs before deciding. A cheaper bare part is not a complete fitted repair.

Paint that fits the whole car

A repaired panel should sit comfortably beside the surrounding bodywork. Our BMW painting service considers the existing color, surface finish and adjacent panels as well as the damage itself. The aim is a consistent appearance, not simply covering the mark.

Scratches and surface damage

We assess the depth before recommending treatment. Some light marks can be improved through appropriate paint correction. Damage through the coating needs preparation and refinishing; polishing alone cannot replace missing paint. We explain the achievable result for the affected area.

Color and finish matching

The paint code is a starting point. Existing color variation, aging and earlier repainting can affect the match. We assess the surrounding finish and identify any blending needed before you approve the paint work.

Tell us if the car has a matte finish, wrap or paint-protection film. Those finishes need to be identified at the start because their treatment and reinstatement can differ from conventional painted bodywork. Removal or replacement of a protective film is listed separately when required.

Several panels or a full respray

If damage runs across several areas, we can price the affected panels together. A full respray is a separate option for a wider cosmetic refresh and starts with assessing the existing coatings and body condition. You receive a plan for the preparation and paint work, with an expected workshop period, before committing to the larger job.

What your paint repair covers

We identify the areas being repaired and painted in the quotation. This makes the cost clear and sets a realistic expectation for the finished appearance before the car enters the paint stage.

The reference

Surrounding finish

We assess the color and condition beside the damage. This helps identify earlier repairs, visible aging and differences that could affect the new finish.

The work

Damaged panel

The agreed repair includes the necessary reshaping or replacement, surface preparation and refinishing of the affected area. The estimate describes which operations are included.

Where needed

Blended area

If blending into a neighboring area is needed, we explain why and identify it in the quote. You know which panels are involved before authorizing the work.

Preparation is part of the repair

The finished paint depends on the surface beneath it. Existing filler, unsound earlier coatings or damage revealed during preparation can change the work needed. We explain additional findings and obtain approval for a revised repair before proceeding with the extra work.

Your estimate separates the actual body repair from optional appearance work. A local scratch repair, complete panel repaint and full respray deliver different amounts of work. We help you choose the appropriate repair for the damage and your budget without presenting every mark as a reason to repaint the whole car.

Bumper repairs with the right fit

BMW front bumper, grille and headlight alignment
Panel-fit illustration: an impact can affect more than the visible cover.

A parking scrape may need surface repair and paint. A cracked, loose or displaced bumper needs a closer look at the cover, fixings and parts behind it. We assess these together so the finished bumper is properly attached as well as repainted.

Where repair is suitable, the work addresses the damaged cover and its finish. If the cover or attachment points cannot be restored appropriately, we quote replacement and the associated fitting work. Grilles, trim, brackets and damaged lighting are identified separately where they are affected.

Fitted parking sensors, cameras or other equipment also matter. Checks, adjustments or calibration are included when required by the damage and the vehicle’s repair procedure. A painted bumper cover on its own does not resolve a damaged sensor or mounting.

Call us for BMW bumper repair and describe any looseness, warning message or change in parking-sensor operation after the impact. These details help us prepare for the inspection.

Accident repairs beyond the paint

After a collision, restoring the visible panels is only part of the job. Our bodyshop assessment identifies damaged bodywork and checks the nearby parts affected by the impact. The resulting repair plan can include panels, supports, brackets, lighting and related mechanical or electronic work where the findings require it.

We explain the damaged components and the proposed repair before asking you to approve the estimate. If dismantling reveals further damage, we contact you with the additional findings and revised cost. The initial quotation is not open-ended permission to carry out unrelated work.

Arrange safe transport first

Do not drive the car if a loose panel, damaged wheel area, tire rubbing or another fault makes it unsafe. Tell us about the condition when calling so we can discuss suitable transport and the workshop appointment. A cosmetic scrape on a driveable car can be booked around a normal visit.

If an insurer is paying

Confirm the insurer’s repair authorization before work begins. We can discuss the bodyshop assessment and quotation with you, but an estimate does not itself confirm insurance coverage or approval. Tell us about the payment arrangement when booking to avoid delays between assessment and repair.

From damaged panel to handover

Once you approve the repair, the work follows the agreed bodywork and paint plan. We focus on three things that matter when you collect the car: the finish, the fit and the operation of the affected parts.

01

Restore the finish

Shape, preparation and paint

The damaged area is repaired or replaced as agreed, then prepared and refinished. At collection, we review the repaired finish with you, including the color and any blending included in the job.

02

Refit the bodywork

Panels, trim and attachments

Reassembled panels and trim need appropriate alignment and secure attachment. We check the repaired areas together, including relevant panel gaps and the fit of bumpers, grilles or other removed parts.

03

Check affected functions

Moving parts and equipment

The checks follow the repair: for example, the operation of an affected door or window, lighting, or required electronic procedures. We explain the completed work and any separate issue identified during the job.

Plan the workshop time

A small dent repair and a multi-panel accident repair need different schedules. The repair method, paint process, parts availability and any additional damage affect the completion date. We give you the expected timing after assessment and discuss any change that affects collection.

Leave with clear aftercare

We explain how to care for the repaired finish and when washing, polishing or applying a protective treatment is appropriate for the process used. Your invoice records the agreed work and supplied parts. Warranty terms for the selected work are confirmed with the estimate, so you can raise any later concern with the relevant repair details.

Bodyshop questions

Ready to repair the damage? These are the practical details customers ask before booking our Al Quoz bodyshop.

How much does BMW body repair cost in Dubai?

Suitable paintless dent repairs are guided at AED 250–600, panel repair and painting at AED 600–1,200, and bumper repair at AED 900–1,600. We inspect the damage and give you a written quote confirming the work, parts and VAT before you approve the repair.

Can you repair a dent without repainting?

Yes, where the dent and original finish are suitable for paintless repair. We check the paint, shape, metal condition and access before recommending it. If the paint is damaged or the dent cannot be corrected appropriately that way, we quote the necessary panel and paint repair.

Can you match my BMW’s existing paint?

We assess the paint code alongside the current finish, including color variation and earlier repairs. The repair plan identifies any blending into adjacent areas needed for a suitable match. We explain the expected result and the areas being painted before work starts.

Do I have to replace a damaged bumper?

Not always. We assess the cover, mounting points and any affected equipment before recommending repair or replacement. The quote includes the work needed for the finished repair, rather than only a bare replacement cover.

Can I get a quote through WhatsApp?

Send a clear wider photo and a close-up of the damage, with your BMW model. Photos let us give initial guidance and arrange the inspection. The final quote follows the assessment because access, paint condition and hidden damage may not be visible in a photograph.

How long will my BMW be in the bodyshop?

We confirm an expected completion date after assessing the damage and checking parts requirements. Paint preparation, the number of panels and any additional work affect the schedule. Let us know your preferred dates when booking so we can discuss practical arrangements.

Do you offer pickup and a first-service discount?

Yes. BMW Garage offers free pickup and drop-off within Dubai, and new customers can ask for 15% off their first service. Call to arrange the inspection and confirm the appropriate collection method for the condition of your car.
